The sequencing of our practices is designed to encourage students to think about their own lives and feelings so that when students start practicing, they have a clear understanding of the importance of the Inner Explorer program.
These practices range from 1-7 minutes in length. Once the introductory practices are completed, the practice length is approximately 10 minutes, which includes 2 minutes of journaling starting in practice 6. Because of the importance of reflection in learning and the development of self-awareness and self-management, journaling provides an opportunity for students to write and/or draw creatively to integrate what they learned during the day's session. It is recommended to have journals and writing utensils ready prior to listening to this practice.
