The Inner Explorer Daily Mindful Awareness and Educator Well-Being professional development course is an experiential training designed to deepen your understanding of mindful awareness practices. Through this course, you will learn how a daily practice of mindful awareness can reduce chronic stress, improve resilience, and promote well-being. Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion worth 10 PD credits. The course consists of an introduction and overview, pre and post surveys, four modules, 21 daily practices with journaling, and a reflection submittal. It is a self-paced, multimodal course that can be completed within 60 calendar days. Accessible through an internet-connected device, this course offers valuable tools, supplemental resources.

Janice is a founding member of Inner Explorer and has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Northeastern University and has a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts- Boston. She have been trained in MBSR and has been teaching mindful awareness practices to adults and children since 2009.

Joan is a former Massachusetts public school teacher with sixteen years of experience teaching special education, executive function, mindfulness and social-emotional learning in middle and high school. Joan completed training through the Center for Mindfulness 8-week MBSR Program and 13-week MBSR Program for Educators. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Siena College (NY), a Master's Degree in Social Welfare from the University at Albany (NY), and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Simmons University (MA).
